there's a tiny piano in the top of my head.

sometimes, when i listen closely,

it plays me a tune as im falling asleep.

an enchanting tune

that is so light the volume overwhelms me

and it makes me wonder.

what is this i'm hearing?

where am i going?

how ever will i return?

but none of that matters now.

because the piano's still playing

and the ringing isn't changing.

i'm falling into a bigger trance.

the note is engulfing.

aaah im editing again....

a small piece of advice... it's become very apparent that many of you dont read between the lines...maybe you should try to more often. it comes in handy.

aaaah i love spring break! it's only been one day and already chelsea and daniela have come over to double dutch and run around outside like the old days, dani and i went to zumba and washed a car, and we all jumped on a trampoline for a while and walked a mile or so! aaaaah its so wonderful outside! i hope everyone else is having/will a great break!

i remember that when i was younger there was a tree right outside my window and i would wake up to the birds every morning. that tree was always my hideout spot when we played spies. the binaculars i had were so huge, they didnt fit my eyes, and i would carry them around to see what the neighbors were doing. there was a wonderful park down the street. it had swings and a wooden bridge and all kinds of slides. and sand. not that uckyyucky pea gravel or wood chips or anything like that. and i would sit there under one of the wooden platforms in the sand to escape the sun, and dig as far as i could. when i got to clay i knew i won. and i loved it when i got to the clay. because then i would make all sorts of things with that sandy clay. and i would get soo dirty. then i would swing on the swings and see how far i could jump off. it was so scary. and sooooooo fun. and on the way home, because there was a layer of sand and mud covering alll over me, i would get to ride in the trunk of the car, since our house was just down the street. i invented a way to "buckle my seatbelt" which didnt really work but it was fun. and i would roll all around in that trunk until i got home. and when i did, i would usually go play with some beautifully colored playdoh............ aaaaaaaaaw the life.

when i have the choice between an odd numbered item or and even numbered item, i aaalways choose an even number.

when i have the choice between a little fork and a big fork, i aaalways choose a little fork.

when i have the choice to sit and the end of our kitchen table or the side, i aaalways choose the end.

weird things, i know.

but lately ive been finding myself doing things exactly opposite of what i usually do.

instead.

i choose the odd numbered item.

i choose the big fork.

i choose the side.

and its not like i tell myself to switch things up.

they just began flipflipping.

then i noticed.

and.

as my dad said and the sarahs agreed,

my future self is taking over my present self,
my present self is taking over my past self,
and i am becoming myslef.

wow.

thats great.

hahahahahaha.
